Throughput Technologies will be a showcasing a variety of industrial networking products, visit its stand to see:
Westermo 3G/HSDPA Router
A live data link from the show, through a virtual private network (VPN) to an IP camera at Westermo’s offices at Southampton in the UK will be on display. Westermo’s MRD-330 HSDPA/3G/GPRS Router will be used to create the high-speed link through the VPN to a Westermo DR-250 DSL router in Westermo’s workshop area.

Ethernet extenders
The Wolverine series Ethernet extenders are capable of extending Ethernet networks on legacy copper cables. Data rates up to 5,7 Mbit/s and operating distance of up to 15 kilometres at lower data rates can be achieved. Visit stand H2 to see a special demonstration of the Wolverine Series extenders running on a ‘typical’ South African network – razor wire.
PC-based control for flat wire motors for electric vehicles Beckhoff Automation
Fieldbus & Industrial Networking
Special machine manufacturer, ruhlamat Huarui Automation Technologies unveiled the second generation of its mass production line for flexible stators with bar winding. This enables extremely short production cycle and line changeover times, supported by PC- and EtherCAT-based control technology from Beckhoff.
