Dual loop PLC controller

The DLC is a dual loop controller that is designed as a building block for any multizone temperature or process control system. In a DIN-rail mounted package, the DLC provides all of the usual features as well as some others. The product offers savings in space and with two loops per module, users can build systems as they require them.

LED enunciators provide vital information when troubleshooting and commissioning and an RS485 port, with a dual RJll Connector supports Modbus RTU and ASCII protocol. This allows instant multidrop wiring of multiple units. The Windows-based software provides a quick way to configure one or multiple DLCs for any application. Any Modbus-compatible operator panel may be used as an interface but the Paradigm HMI also offers alarm logging, event logging, recipe handling, modem access and trending, as well as allowing the user to exchange data between multiple DLCs and a PLC. Use of the Modbus protocol means that the DLC can become an integral part of almost any PC-based scada system.
