Tokyo-based Shimaden has appointed Indecon Instrumentation as its new South African distributor. Established in 1963, Shimaden is a designer and manufacturer of speciality products for temperature and humidity control and together with Indecon it aims to expand its reach into the local market.
Products include temperature and humidity sensors, signal converters, comparator units, process indicators, PID and programmable ramp controllers, thyristor power regulators, solid-state relays and servo controllers.
Shimaden Controllers and Shimaden Lite software work together to offer one of the most user friendly and advanced packages available. Shimaden Lite is a simple user interface for operator type changes to a controller. Features include:

• Auto configuration: Shimaden Lite automatically adopts controller configuration.
