Integrated boiler control

Boiler control determines the safety and efficiency of steam generation in industrial applications. Automated systems now control water level, the concentration total dissolved solids (TDS) and the timing of steam mains warm-up.

Traditionally these functions have been implemented using individual, dedicated controllers; now Spirax Sarco's Integrated Boiler Controller combines all of these functions into a single unit, with many benefits such as fully configurable control strategies enabling optimum operating conditions. There is no requirement for external commissioning devices and the controller has the ability to monitor control performance using trend analysis. The patented TDS probe conditioning feature reduces downtime caused by scale formation and optional communication modules are available to enable integration with existing communication platforms.
