PLC switch module manual/automatic functions

The new 6,2 mm PLC-S...S switch module from Phoenix Contact allows 'manual-0-automatic' functions to be implemented in applications for setup, tests and manual/emergency operation. In combination with a PLC connection module (relay or opto coupler), the respective loads can be connected. The switch module and the PLC module with an input voltage of <72 V a.c./d.c. can be connected easily via PLC plug-in bridges.
The PLC switch module sends a signal via a voltage-free control output when automatic operation is discontinued. As well as different types of connections, such as screw or spring-cage connectors, the user can also select from switch modules for screwdriver and manual operation.
