A new version of the Movidrive series has been introduced by SEW-Eurodrive. The compact MCH drive inverter combines the proven technology of Movidrive with the new Hiperface absolute encoder system. This means the same device can be used for undertaking both standard tasks and fulfilling the most exacting servo requirements in terms of precision and dynamics. The MCH series is available on three basic versions:
* MCH 40A basic version.
* MCH 41A with integrated Profibus interface for 12 Mbaud.
* MCH 42A with integrated InterBus interface for fibre-optic cables.
Shared properties can be used for standard AC motors or asynchronous and synchronous servomotors. The power range is 1,5 to 90 kW with connection voltage 3 x 200 to 240 V. The series is certified for use in various jurisdictions: CE (Europe), UL (N America), and C-Tick (Australia). The standard functions of the Movidrive compact, with IPOSplus positioning and sequence control systems are included in the standard version as well as the interface for Hiperface absolute encoder. There is a free choice of specific application programs incorporated in the MCH. These are all user-friendly, and include Electronic cam, phase synchronous operation, winding, flying saw, and various positioning functions.
