Soft PLC PC Worx Softcontrol MC software provides machines with powerful sequential control and integrated motion control. A variety of motion functions such as electronic gearing systems, cam discs and flying saws can be coordinated and implemented in the same PLC program along with the sequential control.
Motion control uses standardised function modules in IEC 61131, compiled in a library per PLCopen FBS for Motion Control. Thus users can do all of the motion engineering of a machine with a single tool - eliminating the need for expensive interfaces. And the powerful functions of PC Worx make setup easy and provide comprehensive diagnostics. Engineering expenses for handling, assembly and packaging applications are reduced, and PLC programs become easier to understand.
Applications with up to 80 axes are possible, depending on the capacity of the PC being used. Combining Interbus and SERCOS as a drive bus allows cycle times as short as 1 ms and makes all movements dynamic and precise. Other drives can be used as well.
