The ILC 370 ETH 2TX-IB is the newest addition to the modular and compact inline controller product range from Phoenix Contact. In this product family, control intelligence is directly integrated into the Interbus inline station.
With 2 MB program memory, 4 MB data memory, 128 KB NVRAM and an execution time of 0,3 ms for 1 K instructions, the inline controller ILC 370 ETH offers higher performance than the ILC 350 ETH controller. The two Ethernet interfaces allow connections to higher-level controllers and systems. With these Ethernet interfaces, one can use the PC Worx automation software to program and configure the controller, perform parallel data transfer with the OPC servers and communicate with all TCP/IP-capable devices. An Interbus slave interface allows realtime synchronisation with other control systems.
The high performance processor also allows the new controller to be used for complex control, regulation and communication tasks. By simply using inline automation construction components to extend a control system, one can flexibly adapt it to the particular application requirements.
