Designed with both the installer and user in mind, LSIS has introduced its simple to install and easy to operate standard S100 drive. The powerful dual-rated unit is perfect for general applications such as pumps, fans, conveyors, mixers, milling, etc. and has a diverse range of user friendly functions delivering added value to users.
The series has a heavy and normal duty operation rating. In a normal duty application, for example a pump or fan, designers could opt to de-rate the drive. These ratings are available in the parameters and can be optimised as the requirements demand. Overload capacity: heavy duty operation – 150% of rated current, 60 seconds and normal duty operation – 120% of rated current, 60 seconds. Other features include:
• Powerful sensor-less control: offering an open loop starting torque of 200%/0.5 Hz providing higher power and torque in the low speed ranges.
• Selectable rotary/standstill auto-tuning: user flexibility to choose standstill instead of rotational auto-tuning where the motor cannot be rotated due to installation or application conditions, while offering full tuning parameter optimisation.
• Side by side installation: minimised distance between products enables panel size reduction when installing multiple S100 drives.
• Main capacitor lifecycle estimator: calculated through monitoring the change in the capacitance of the main DC bus.
• Cooling fan lifecycle estimator: warning signal is displayed when the cooling fan is operated over a pre-determined amount of running hours.
• Built-in DC reactor: effective in improving power factor and decreasing THD.
• Various field networks: integration to a variety of field networks with easy installation and setup. (Profibus, DeviceNet, Ethernet IP, Modbus TCP, CANopen, EtherCAT, etc.)
• Built-in safety torque off: Safety input function meets EN ISO 13849-1 PLd and EN 61508 SIL2 (En 60204-1, stop category 0). This feature enables users to meet current international safety standards.
• Global compliance: global standard compliance UL, CE, Gost, C-tick and cUL.
