Phoenix Contact now offers a further module for the Interbus inline system: IB IL AI 2/HART is a two-channel analog input module (4-20 mA) for connecting HART field devices. The HART functionality is therefore also made available in the Interbus inline automation system.
From the control level, a configuration tool can be used to access and modify connected HART field devices. Communication is carried out using the standard Interbus PCP protocol. On each of the two channels, information can be exchanged with connected devices independently of each other in point-to-point or multidrop mode. The new module offers all the features of the inline analog input module.
