Commercial and industrial power protection up to 400 A from Schneider Electric.
Commercial buildings, industrial sites, original equipment manufacturers and machine installations are set to benefit from EasyPact, Schneider Electric South Africa’s new moulded case circuit breaker (MCCB). Designed as an entry level, economically priced breaker, EasyPact offers a choice of current ratings from 15 to 400 A as well as five breaking capacities from 15 up to 36 kA at a nominal voltage of 415 V for South Africa.
Standard features, including fixed mounting front connections, cables connected through lugs and field installable accessories have been provided for simple installation.
EasyPact is ideal for general electrical distribution installations in buildings such as small office complexes, factories and light industry. Electrical and mechanical accessories include upstream and downstream connections and isolating devices, direct and extended rotary handles, padlocking attachments and snap-in auxiliary switches. A complete clip-in type busbar is an accessory ideal for the building market. The busbars include a space-saving enclosure engineered and certified to meet IEC 60439-1 requirements.
The EasyPact MCCB has also been designed to be incorporated into Schneider Electric South Africa’s Prisma low voltage board enclosures to achieve economy and service-life benefits. Compliant with IEC 60947-1/2 and other world standards, the breaker meets safety, reliability and quality needs as well as conforming to the ROHS environmental directive. This allows it to be integrated without restriction in devices or installations directly governed by these regulations.
