Advantech's rugged new panel PCs

Advantech has introduced two versatile fanless touch panel PCs – TPC-651H and TPC-1251H. With -20 to 60°C operating temperature range and sealed for IP65 protection, the new touch panel computers are designed for use in demanding indoor or outdoor applications. The units have received Energy Star certification for their improved power efficiency, 30-60% less energy than other TPC products depending on how they are applied.

TPC-651H and TPC-1251H provide 2 KV isolation protection on serial ports to prevent damage from accidental shock, surges or ground loops. Low voltage processors and heatsinks achieve fanless design and the universal backplane allows attachment to any size TPC family LCD. These are the first models of Advantech’s TPC series to be approved by the EPA (Environmental Protection Agency). With their NEMA4/IP65 front panel, they are capable of resisting the harsh conditions of industrial environments, especially in outdoor and demanding machine automation applications.

Multiple standard communication ports (two x serial ports and two x USB 2.0 ports) allow connectivity with a variety of peripherals and support for Microsoft Windows XP, Windows XP Embedded, Windows CE.NET and Linux.
