Vega's range of ultrasonic, non-contact level measuring sensors, the Vegason 61, 62 and 63 is available in IP68 rating, which means the sensors are suitable for various level measuring applications in the water and wastewater industries.
The Vegason range of sensors offers an economic solution for profile monitoring of both liquids and solids. The measuring range for solids is from 2 m up to 7 m and for liquids it ranges from 5 m up to 15 m. The sensors can be immersed up to a depth of 2 m, with up to 20 kPa pressure exerted without damage to the instrument.
The transmitting power of the instruments is dimensioned in such a way that the sensors are not influenced by fog, wind, humidity or water. The Vegason 63 has a special mounting arrangement that allows optimum positioning to suit the angle of repose of the product measured.
The wiring and installation costs are considerably reduced thanks to the proven two-wire technology. The parameter adjustment is as easy as the continuous operation.
