How does one balance the cost of holding spares against plant downtime? Different inputs and different ranges all add to the overall critical spares inventory problem. Using Omniflex’s TXBs can change all this, since one unit does all saving the expense of money tied up in inventory and eliminating a lot of aggravation.
The Omniterm TXB is a fully isolated DIN-Rail mounting 4-wire transmitter that can be powered from a 20-30 VDC supply. Any input type to any output type is the name of the game. Thermocouples, RTDs, voltage and current are accepted directly, and users choose the output range you require: 4- 20 mA, 1-5 V, 0-10 V etc.
