Barcode scanner for high density codes

The Wenglor FIS-0830 barcode scanner reads extremely high barcode densities in industrial environments such as automotive, food and beverage, machine manufacture, woodworking, paper, plastics and textiles.

Applications for which it is ideally suited include reading of barcodes that are printed, needle printed, laser printed or etched onto glossy materials; reading of barcodes with low contrast differences; reading of barcodes with poor printing quality; checking of barcode labels on print completion to verify information; identification of products during and after production; and high-speed reading.

Up to three outputs can be programmed to perform functions such as Good Read, No Read, Mismatch (does not match the master code), and Trend Analysis. Installation time is reduced to a minimum with the state-of-the-art Ultra-Lock connections – the scanner is plugged in and is immediately ready to read the desired codes. It can be configured via PC or a programmable device and data can be transmitted to the master controller via an RS-232, RS-422 or RS-485 interface. The barcode scanner has protection to IP65, allowing effective operation in hot, cold and wet environments.
