I would like to wish you all a happy and prosperous 2011!
2010 has been yet another successful year for the institute. There have been meetings, working committees, conferences, presentations, technical evenings, banquettes, dinners, site visits and many more activities, and we have all had a lot of fun as well. For me the best part of being involved with the institute is the sense of achievement; the opportunity to share and give some of our time and the benefit of the experience that we have gained working in this exciting and ever changing industry.
Johan van Jaarsveldt
It is due to the hard work, dedication and commitment of individuals that the institute is 54 years old and stronger than ever. It is time to reflect and thank all the role players: the individuals that attend the branch technology evenings, the branch committees, branch chairpersons, the SAIMC council and of course all our sponsors and patron members. Thank you all for the way you supported our vision, innovations and functions so graciously this year.
The 2011 SAIMC branch committees and council will soon be elected and this is the time to become involved and help make a difference. Please visit our website www.saimc.net where you can register online, become a member and join in the discussions on our technical forum.
We look forward to hearing from you, and again – all the best for 2011.
