Instrotech will be exhibiting its range of Revere load cells for demanding weighing applications. For many years now these stainless-steel hermetically sealed load cells have carried ATEX certification valid internationally. Now within the latest South African standards requirements for Hazardous Area, Revere load cells have been recertified locally for ATEX compliance for use in Zone 0/1 and Zone 2 Group 11C. Types include compression, ring torsion, single point, single ended load beam and single ended shear load beam.
Also on display will be the Vishay model 178 extensometer bolt-on strain gauge, designed to measure force on any load-bearing structure; providing a real solution for non-intrusive level measurements.
