By combining spectral analysis with XRF fluorescence technology in one REDWAVE sorting system, a broader spectrum of material composition can now be analysed. Not only are individual element signals (peak-based analysis) detected, but the entire spectrum is utilised, resulting in significantly more precise alloy separation. Unlike other technologies, this system is equally effective with materials that have contaminated surfaces, making it suitable for nearly all materials.
