BMG’s Regal Rexnord Falk product range, which encompasses industrial gear units, low-speed backstops, couplings, bearings, and chain conveying solutions, is designed to minimise ownership costs and maximise the productivity of capital equipment investments.
BMG’s power transmission specialists work closely with customers to find dependable solutions that overcome misalignment and contamination in many sectors, including the mining industry and aggregate plants. The BMG team can also enhance efficiencies in power generation, paper and pulp, wood and timber, sugar, food and beverage, and automotive applications.
“Regal Rexnord Falk products suit the demands of tough conditions in Africa, from crushing, screening and conveying, to hauling and washing,” explains business unit manager, Carlo Beukes. “These components are known by operators, OEMs and consulting engineers for their ease of installation, durability, safety and high performance.
BMG’s range of Regal Rexnord Falk power transmission drive components includes True Hold low speed backstops, which have been developed to accommodate torque ranges from 4068 to 1 013 000 Nm. An important benefit of external backstops is that they allow for inspection and maintenance, without the need for disassembly of other drive components.
True Hold low-speed backstops, with over-running speeds from 1 to 2800 rpm, are available from BMG in single, tandem or multiple drive arrangements. The NRTH series is suitable for higher-speed applications. NRT backstops, which are fitted with roller ramp stopping mechanisms, allow for placement on the shaft of a gearbox or head shaft of a conveyor. BMG supports this range with a three-year, heavy-duty warranty.
