Double the computing speed - half the computing time

The Masterdrives motion control P2 from Siemens Automation & Drives (A&D) features high drive dynamics with double the computing speed, ie, half the computing time for all functions. This enables fast calculation of technological functions and free blocks - for example, the technology block F01 in 1,6 ms. The link to the Siemens motion control system Simotion is powerful, with the new configuration tools enable simple parameterisation as well as fast diagnosis of the converter.

The new firmware (Version 2.0) of the Masterdrives MC P2 is compatible with the previous version, meaning it can run all former DNL and script files. The mechanical and electrical connections are also compatible with the previous model so that plants can be converted to 'P2' without any changes in design.

With double the computing speed, the Masterdrives Motion Control P2 features high drive dynamics for quick calculation of technological functions.
