South African branch takes on African responsibilities previously handled from outside of Africa

From January 2000, Schneider Electric South Africa has taken over the responsibility of three new regions, namely Zambezi Africa, Eastern Africa and the Indian Ocean Islands. This opens new horizons of possibility for our customers, particularly our partners such as distributors, system integrators and original equipment manufacturers.
The South African operation will be handling the commercial, marketing, services and projects, logistics and production, financial, human resource and general management aspects of the new region. This was previously administered from France.
Schneider Electric will be exhibiting innovative solutions in electrical distribution, industrial control and automation at Mozbex, Mozambique's 3rd Business and Industrial Trade Exhibition in Maputo from the 18 to 20 July 2000.
