Electrotest
Based on consumer demand, Electrotest has developed a batching unit comprising a batching panel with pushbuttons for starting, stopping and resetting the batching cycle. The system uses an input from a water meter with pulse output to increment/decrement the counter. The controller uses a relay contact to activate the solenoid and indicates, on the panel, the state of the output. The system uses a preset counter which is available in single, dual and four preset models and is neatly housed in a mild steel 300 (h) x 250 (w) x 150 (d), rated IP65.
The batching controller allows for the automatic batching of product. The controller accepts various different types of process count inputs and scales the signal to indicate a count value on the counter. Both the preset count and the actual count values are displayed. The batch cycle is started, stopped and reset via buttons on the panel. A visual indication of output status is located on the front panel.
The unit has successfully been implemented in numerous applications in industry, for such diverse areas as the food and the cement industry.
