The Oldham EP1000 monitor is accurate, exhibits no zero or span drift, has low maintenance requirements and is tolerant of water. As readings are taken in-situ, they are true instantaneous readings.
Since the instrument output exhibits a linear response to the medium being measured, the need for lengthy isokinetic calibration sampling is eliminated. Installation is made easy with a sighting facility while the IP65 rated enclosure allows adequate protection against the elements. Able to operate in stack temperatures in excess of 500°C, the instrument offers a measurement range of 0-10 g/m3 - user selectable. A unique feature is the ability to program up to 10 separate locations or process. This facility allows the user to use the EP1000 for different applications without recalibration of the instrument.
An optional remote keyboard is available allowing configuration and set-up at the bottom of the stack or in a more convenient location. An optical calibrator is also available for periodic checking of the instrument.
Standard outputs include 4-20 mA RS485 OR RS422 (MODBUS) protocol. Suitable applications are scrubber/filter efficiency, stack emissions, etc. The EP1000 has TUV certification and complies with EPA regulations.
