World-leading calibration centre now fully accredited

Following its recent accreditation by the Swiss Office of Accreditation, Endress+Hauser's Cernay Calibration Centre is now the most extensive and modern production calibration plant in the world, with the ability to traceably calibrate flowmeters with a range of nominal diameters from 2 to 2000 mm and measuring ranges from 0,3 to 6000 m3/h.
In the future, all Endress+Hauser's electromagnetic flowmeters with nominal diameters of DN 300 - 2000, as well as all DN 300 vortex flowmeters, will be calibrated on the FCP 7,2 plant. This includes new as well as used devices.
"The Cernay Calibration Centre is just another discerning factor that elevates us above the competition," says Endress+Hauser spokesperson, Grant Joyce. "By mid-2002, the entire calibration infrastructure at Cernay will have been adapted to and tested against ISO 17025, the very latest benchmark for facilities of this kind."
