The Riken Eagle monitor is one of the most versatile portable gas detectors on the market. Available from Protea Automation Solutions, this instrument provides detection combinations seldom found in a portable gas monitor, and operates with the industry's widest selection of high quality, long life and field-proven sensors.
The Eagle will detect simultaneously up to six different gases, with a wide variety of sensors including an IR sensor for CO2, % LEL CH4, and 0 to 100% volume CH4. Standard features include PPM/LEL hydrocarbon detection (5 ppm resolution) and a methane elimination switch for environmental applications. For quick response and recovery, the Eagle has a strong internal pump that can draw samples from over 8 m. The instrument is intrinsically safe to CSA/NRTL and is UL Classified.
The instrument will continuously operate for over 30 hours on alkaline batteries or 18 hours on Ni-Cads. A data-logging option is available.
