The Thermox Model 7025 hydrazine analyser is an advanced analytical instrument for the precise measurement of the concentration of hydrazine (N2H4) in water.
Continuous on-line analysis of hydrazine residual in a sample stream is provided. It is used with high-pressure steam boiler systems and other applications where hydrazine is utilised to chemically remove dissolved oxygen from water.
A mass amperometric sensor for the electrochemical analysis of hydrazine, which responds rapidly to concentration level changes, is utilised. Output from the sensor is a DC current proportional to the hydrazine concentration in the sample. Temperature correction of the sensor is provided by a thermistor. There is no need for additional reagents or reagent delivery systems.
Isolated 4-20mA current output, high/low and H-High/L-Low alarms are standard in the digital electronics module. Accuracy is ±4% of the reading or ±2 ppb, whichever is greater. The Model 7025 is available in standard and NEMA IV type enclosures.
