The Oldham MX2000 portable multigas detector is a suitable gas monitor for warning against hazardous gases. Small and compact, it measures 150 x 80 x 40 mm in size and weighs only 450 g.
Able to detect up to four gases simultaneously it can monitor a range of 32 preprogrammed explosive gases as well as toxic gases, plus oxygen according to application requirements. Toxic gases measured include CO, H2S, NO and SO2. The flammable gas sensor is sensitive to all flammable gases including methane, hydrogen, butane, propane, LPG etc. Gas levels and instrument status, including location are indicated by 8 digit backlight LCD display or LED as an option. Alarms are indicated by audible buzzer and LED alarm lights.
The MX2000 is powered by standard replaceable 1,5 V dry or rechargeable Nicad batteries. With more than 17 hours operation time and only 5 hours charge, continuous safety of the user is ensured.
All data is retained in the device for download to PC including calibration data, gas level exposure graphs, manufacture date, etc. A range of accessories is available including carrying case, sampling equipment 220 V and 12 V d.c. charger etc.
The unit is SABS1515 approved and EEx ia 11TC4 and the unit is approved for industrial use.
