There is a simple, reliable and cost-effective way to measure and record quality of surface and ground water. The Troll probe measures up to nine parameters simultaneously. The unit offers a choice of dissolved oxygen, conductivity, temperature, pH, ORP, salinity, level, barometric, nitrate, chloride, ammonium, ammonia or turbidity.
New 'smart' sensor technology remembers calibration and the 'plug and play' sensors eliminate field calibration since they can be calibrated in the office before heading to site.
Offering great convenience, the 'Quick-Cal' solution features simple and quick calibration. Simply place the Troll in the solution and press 'Calibrate'. The one solution can be used to simultaneously calibrate dissolved oxygen, conductivity, pH and ORP sensors.
In addition to taking the measurements, the Troll has an internal data logger. The 4 MB of memory on board can store more than 1 million data points. The entire unit is powered by two batteries for long-term operation. The batteries are user replaceable - they slide in and out; no tools are required.
This multiparameter sensor and logger is also bundled with software for a PC. This software downloads the logged data for display, analysis and archiving.
