The Oldham Vigigas monitoring panel is specifically designed for low-cost monitoring of ventilation in parking bays and other gas hazard areas.
The Vigigas is able to monitor large parking areas and building ventilation with use of a sample draw system up to 2000 m in length. Typically, in the case of building underground parking areas, the Vigigas sampling can be used to monitor levels of CO and Nox on a continuous basis. Additionally, hard-wired sensors may be added to monitor CO2, O2, extraction fan condition, ventilation air speeds, etc. Fire detection sensors may also be used to offer maximum safety. Standard features include built-in Stel and TWA software for reporting and control of ventilation systems. A built-in printer is optional.
Standard RS232 JBus protocol allows the instrument to be connected to the building LAN for observation, control and reporting.
In addition to the health, safety and legislation requirements is the ability to control ventilation fans. This allows the Vigigas to pay for itself due to reduced cost in ventilation electricity consumption. Other applications include mine winder and cable tray monitoring, fire detection, furnace offgas, etc.
