NE Technology is offering the PRM301 personal radiation monitor for measuring dose, dose rate and average dose rate. The small, battery powered device is simple to operate and incorporates a sensitive energy compensated G-M detector coupled to a large digital display.
Dose rate is displayed over the range 0,1 to 1999 µSv/h. An audio chirper and settable alarm, over the total range, are included. A two-tone audible alarm occurs when the alarm level is exceeded. Personal protection features include over-range protection with indications of display overflow and low battery condition.
The PRM301 is intended for use as a personal portable dosemeter or as a convenient radiation monitor for industrial workplaces, medical and scientific laboratories and all areas where radioactive materials may be present.
