The system will help technicians make the best decisions for increasing load as well as for plant operations.
Monitoring corrosive contaminants is very important at all stages of power plant operation – while starting up the plant, monitoring these contaminants can ensure the water quality is adequate for bringing the plant online. In a running plant, monitoring power steam quality can ensure contaminant limits specified in turbine warranties are met.
With accurate and reliable conductivity measurements using UniCond conductivity sensors, the DCC1000 system confirms water purity to maximise power production and minimise corrosion. The DCC1000 system is optimised to perform specific, cation and degassed cation conductivity measurements to monitor the quality of feed water, steam, power steam and power condensate applications.
