Monitor up to five gases
September 2001
Analytical Instrumentation & Environmental Monitoring

The TX6522 from Trolex allows the monitoring of up to five combinations of toxic and flammable gases. The unit can be user-configured by smart plug-in gas-sensing modules:
* Infrared gas sensors for toxic and flammable gas risk.
* Electrochemical gas sensors for toxic gas risk.
* Catalytic combustion sensor for flammable gas risk.
The monitor has on-board computing capacity that provides intelligent characterisation of sensor response.
There is a high-definition graphic display with an easy-to-use Keyguide user interface and Navigator keypad.
A choice of 30 toxic or flammable gases together with temperature, atmospheric pressure and external sensor, with 2000 points of datalogging for each sensor make this monitor well-suited for the demanding petro-chemical environment.
The heavy duty case has stainless steel reinforcement and is dust and waterproof to IP66. Plug-in precalibrated smart sensors eliminate lengthy calibration procedures and the clip-on replaceable battery pack also has a rapid charge facility.
There are dual alarm setpoints and high brightness flashing beacon and high intensity audible sounder. An electric infusion pump is available as an option.
Certified intrinsically safe to Cenelec Standards for Group II and Group I (MI) applications. Complies with ATEX directive for EMC and surface static charge.
