In many countries, refuelling with environmentally friendly natural gas (CNG) has been established for some time, while in others, the importance of this fuel continues to increase. Thanks to the new CNGmass DCI from Endress+Hauser, the natural gas volume can be both measured with precision and read directly onsite.
Ease of use
Globally Endress+Hauser has already equipped thousands of natural gas fuel dispensers with the proven and reliable CNGmass. The new CNGmass DCI now also has a backlit and clear display to view readings. The device is operated from the outside via ‘Touch Control’, but can also be operated at any time during maintenance. This means that device functions can be easily configured onsite. A total of 15 display languages permit simple operation worldwide and a Modbus interface is included for optimal data exchange.
Based on decades of experience, the CNGmass DCI has optimised long-term stability in operation. The excellent measuring accuracy and reproducibility are continuously confirmed on the internationally accredited Endress+Hauser calibration rigs. There are a number of different approvals available for use of the device in custody transfer applications:
* PTB (Germany).
* NMi (Netherlands).
* METAS (Switzerland).
* BEV (Austria).
Natural gas is a global business, which is why CNGmass fulfils all key requirements for this sector. The device has numerous inputs and outputs for control and signal transmission and is available for nominal diameters DN 8 to DN 25 and records mass flow quantities between 0 to 150 kilograms per minute.
