Innovative new water/wastewater sampler

Operating on the peristaltic pump principle, Endress + Hauser's Liqui-Port 2000 portable sampler can be used in any water or wastewater application where sampling is required, drawing between 20 ml and 1 litre of sample from a maximum depth of 6 m, at an accuracy of about 5% of the preset volume. The Liqui-Port 2000 is user-defined and can be set up via a Quick Set-up menu to be time, flow or quantity proportional, including all parameters such as sample rate.

Suction height is automatically determined via a ceramic membrane contact, which is also maintenance free. Further flexibility is added to the measuring process with the availability of multiple bottle distributions, which can be interchanged quickly and easily.

Integrated locks in the product's hinges eliminate the need for security padlocks and large carry handles in the upper and lower bodies allow for easy transport of individual units. Standard features include analog input, signal input and output and RS232. Robust, yet flexible, polyethylene is used in constructing the Liqui-Port 2000, giving the product optimum resistance against chemicals and UV radiation. This material also eliminates contamination of samples in its storage container, as it prohibits the leaching of chemical components in its composition into the sample.
