The Kangela on-line ash-in-coal monitor employs the dual energy gamma ray (DUET) transmission principle of operation and is well established as a means of improving quality control in the mining sector. Through a process of exhaustive field trials, adaptations and improvements over several years, the Kangela 100 instrument has been developed to a high level of reliable and accurate performance and is widely used by a number of foremost mining and processing operations.

The Kangela 100 is manufactured by NECSA (Nuclear Energy Corporation of South Africa) and marketed by Micron Scientific of South Africa and carries with it a high standard of after-sales service and support.

The Kangela range includes models which are used for routine monitoring purposes through to those which are an integral part of semi or fully automatic coal quality management systems and linked directly or via modem to scada and other process control networks.
