The Thermox CG1000 is a portable oxygen analyser designed for industrial and laboratory applications. It has a wide operating range from 0,1 ppm to 100% O2, auto-ranging, a fast response to oxygen changes, and advanced electronic capabilities for easy system integration.
The lightweight, compact case with handle makes it easy to move the analyser to different sampling locations and its user friendly, menu driven software includes helpful system status messages. Advanced software diagnostics and online help simplify operations and the electronic flow sensor eliminates high maintenance and potential leaks associated with mechanical flowmeters. This allows the user to monitor the flow of gases into the analyser reliably, and can trigger a flow alarm if flow to the analyser stops.
An optional built in pump can pull samples from processes under vacuum and compensate for pressure when measuring oxygen under vacuum. The user simply presses a key on the front panel display to activate the pump.
CG1000 reduces calibration gas expenses by calibrating with percent gases and then reading accurately in low ppm ranges. It is easy to integrate the analyser into the overall control scheme using RS-485 serial communications, 0–20/4–20 mA current outputs, and digital alarms.
The zirconium oxide sensor will not fail to a zero oxygen reading as with other sensor technologies, therefore the process is always protected.
