Land’s new Lancom 4 is a portable gas analyser for industrial applications. Its compact design ensures ease of use on site for combustion efficiency and emissions monitoring measurements in all boiler system and pollutant gas processes.
Building on the success of the Lancom III, the new Lancom 4 represents the next generation of portable gas analyser technology. It has the capability to monitor up to nine different gases, and a total of 17 measurement parameters simultaneously – all in a single box analyser. The Lancom 4 offers high accuracy and also 0,1 ppm measurement resolution. This is achieved by using an advanced sample conditioning system.
Simplicity is built into the Lancom 4 design. The user simply switches the instrument on, connects the sample probe and takes real-time gas readings. The unit has dual rechargeable batteries for up to eight hours continuous use.
Flexibility is provided to meet all measurement requirements in a single instrument; the user just selects the gas types and options that are required for the specific application. Nine gas measurements include: COLow, COHigh, O2, CO2, NO, NO2, SO2, H2S and hydrocarbons, plus key measurements including combustion efficiency, excess air, oxygen normalisation, loss and total NOx.
If required, Lancom 4 can be upgraded in the field by remote communications. When future changes in application requirements arise there is no need to return the instrument to the factory.
