Solid-state overload relays
May 2011
Electrical Power & Protection
CHI Control Components has expanded its motor protection solutions with the introduction of the Eaton range of XT electronic overload relays for advanced motor protection. Developed for global use, the electronic relay features both integral ground fault protection and communications capabilities in a single compact device.
The relays are easy to install, maintain and configure, while a display on the device provides easy-to-see indication of status and faults, allowing maintenance personnel to determine if the device and motor are operating appropriately.
Users can select the motor protection features they need, for instance trip class, ground fault detection, phase imbalance and full load current adjustment, for integration into plant management systems that allow networked monitoring and asset protection.
The solid-state overload relays are RoHS compliant.
