25 Watt constant current LED supply

Mean Well has introduced a 25 W AC/DC plastic case LED power supply with active PFC function and constant current output. The PLD-25 series is designed to fulfil the lower wattage demand as well as PFC function requirement of the LED indoor and decorative lighting market. With 90-295 VAC AC input range, the PLD-25 can be used in 115 or 230 VAC utility power regions.

Thanks to the simplified single stage PFC topology, high power factor can be achieved for economy. Efficiency up to 86% allows operation from -30 to 60°C using only free air convection cooling. With two wire input design (Class II, no FG), these LED drivers enclosed by plastic case with 94V-0 fire resistance level protect users against electric shock. Other standard functions include short circuit, over load, and over temperature protections.

The series complies with global lighting certificates per UL8750 and is perfectly suited to indoor LED-based lighting and decorative lighting applications.
