The Novatech 1231 and 1232 oxygen probes incorporate rugged zirconia sensors ideal for flue gas analysis, water vapour concentration and dew point measurement, combustion analysis and oxygen measurement in boilers, kilns and furnaces.
The probes are manufactured in Australia and incorporate the development of one of Australia’s premier research organisations, the CSIRO. The Novatech 1231 and 1232 are accurate with minimal drift (±1%). The 1231 is designed for analysing gases with temperatures below 900°C and the 1232 for temperatures from 700 to 1400°C. Rapid response to changes in oxygen levels ensures that potentially hazardous situations such as those caused through a build-up of combustion rich conditions can be avoided.
The probes are easily installed by insertion into the flue, or other measuring point, and screwed to a mating socket welded to the process. Once the probe cable is connected to the unit, it is ready to measure and control the combustion process.
