The entry level compact Prosonic T (FMU30) sensor, offers a variety of new features at an affordable price. Menu-driven operation on the graphic liquid crystal display makes commissioning easy and safe, while warning and alarm messages in plain text ensure swift rectification of problems. The envelop curve is an important tool for measured value analysis in time-of-flight measuring methods. It can be displayed directly on site and permits immediate fault tracking. The simplicity in commissioning, operation and maintenance saves time and money.
The Prosonic T replaces the FMU230/FMU231 series. The functionality utilises the Prosonic M’s (FMU40) stable and tested software algorithms. This permits optimum adaptation of the measuring performance of the sensor for the respective application. In addition, the software facilitates the suppression of interfering reflectors like agitators, ladders and nozzles. The mapping prevents the reaction of the sensor to such obstacles and permits non-contact measurement in tight installation conditions.
The Prosonic T is a cost-effective all-rounder suitable for applications in liquids and bulk solids. The device is available with 38 and 50 mm process connections and an operating temperature range from -20 to +60°C.
