120 Watt battery charger

Electrical Power & Protection
Mean Well has further expanded its AC/DC battery charger line with the introduction of the GC120 series – 120 W green charger with low power consumption and high efficiency. With very low no load power consumption (<0,5 W) and up to 91% efficiency, the series is energy-saving in both standby and active modes. Featuring 2-stage fast charging characteristics, GC120 charges batteries quickly and efficiently and is suitable for lead-acid, Lithium-Mn and Lithium-Fe types.
Charging is based on a two stage curve, constant current followed by constant voltage, with battery status monitored via the terminal voltage. This allows the device to charge the battery quickly in constant current mode from a low battery capacity status.
Using the standard IEC320-C14 inlet as the input connector, these Class I units are designed to protect users from electrical shock and are especially suitable for charging electric scooters, bicycles and wheelchairs. Featuring 85-264 VAC full range input and built-in active PFC, the GC120 series complies with the harmonic requirements per EN61000-3-2. Other standard features include 2-colour LED indicator for charging status, short circuit, over-voltage, and over temperature protections and compliance with global standards per UL, TUV, CB, FCC and CE.
