Building on its experience, Programma has developed a system of multifunctional modules to make circuit breaker testing quicker and easier. The TM1800 can be equipped with user configurable modules for testing circuit breaker control, analogue and digital transducers and the timing of main or auxiliary contacts.
The instruments inputs and outputs are quick to configure to allow on-site testing using the built-in Computer Aided Breaker Analysis (CABA) software. The optional CABA Win makes it possible to create specific test plans from the office and download these to a remote TM1800 to execute the tests on site. All contact timing channels are analogue resistance measurement inputs, reading main and resistor contact as well as linear pre-insertion resistance. The modules measure dynamic and static resistance with minimum connection and breaker operation. Another valuable option is a calibration module that allows measurements in the field to be made to traceable standards.
