Megger delivers portable appliance testing

The PAT320 testers from Megger combine convenience and ease of use with rugged construction and competitive pricing for electrical contractors who offer portable appliance testing (PAT) alongside other services. The testers feature full colour displays that show data and results clearly in response to pushbutton initiated sequences. A pass or fail mode with user-defined limits is also available to make routine testing fast and straightforward.
For convenience, the testers incorporate a replaceable internal back-up battery that allows them to retain their operating status for periods of up to five minutes after they are switched off. This eliminates the need for the tester to reboot every time testing is interrupted.
Megger PAT320 testers allow bond testing to be carried out at 200 mA, 10 A and 25 A, continuously for all these currents. This eliminates hold-ups due to overheating, shut down or switching to a reduced current operating mode. In addition to the default automatic mode, the testers support manual testing, and they can be used for both 110 and 230 V assets.
