Water content in dairy products

For reasons of quality and regulation, the water content of dairy products must not exceed a specific value. In order to ensure constant product quality, the measuring system LB 566 Micro-Polar from Berthold Technologies is used to monitor water content during the production process. The microwave-based measurement provides continuous and real-time measuring for a wide range of dairy products, like butter, yoghurt, cream cheese and others. Trends in water content can be identified early in the process stage and corrected in time leading to significant increases in efficiency.

Micro-Polar provides highly accurate measuring results and is proven to work reliably for years. The measurement is completely non intrusive and unaffected by colour, viscosity or non-homogeneity of the measured product. No maintenance is required.
