Mecahnical proximity switches

Due to present day production and strict quality requirements of control and automation, plant and equipment has to be fitted with modern and sophisticated proximity switches.

Steinecker mechanical proximity switches, available from Actum Electronics, with their inherent potential free reed contacts are suitable for many applications such as:

p End position sensing.

p Position interlocking on cylinders.

p Monitoring of stationary and moving modes.

p Valve position indicators and interlocking sensors.

p Liquid level monitoring - full/empty vessels.

p Flow monitoring.

Steinecker proximity switches are manufactured from stainless steel or high impact plastic and are sealed against the ingress of moisture, dust and dirt. Switching hysteresis is low and the operating range can be varied depending upon the particular requirements. The devices are available with normally open, normally closed or change over contacts. Connecting cables are included if required.
