Once a year, Endress+Hauser South Africa’s service department gets together to reinforce its focus and commitment. This year in depth training was provided on Fieldcheck usage, life cycle management and in particular the manipulation of W@M (web-asset management) and calibration training was provided by service advisor, Etienne Abrahams. All the training was interactive to ensure maximum value for the service personnel.
One of the highlights was the signing of the Service Personnel Commitments, a pledge to the following:
* Ensure the values and corporate identity of Endress+Hauser is conveyed professionally by all service people.
* Provision of sustainable customer services.
* Provision to customers of a stable, quality service that is traceable by using standardised tools and processes.
* Ensure the right behaviour skills and qualifications.
* Commitment to quality, health and safety.
* Strive to continuously improve the service operations portfolio.
Abrahams says that the value gained from this meeting is the commitment to go forward with new ideas and the reiteration of best practices within the service department.
