Legrand introduces the Arteor range
June 2010
Analytical Instrumentation & Environmental Monitoring
With the recent launch of the Arteor range, encompassing switches to advanced home automation systems, Legrand can now provide a multitude of standalone and system functions for commercial and residential environments.
“Legrand has combined stylish design with technology to create devices with a variety of finishes that meet the requirements of basic electrical functions as well as complicated and demanding automation tasks,” says Timothy Mountjoy, Legrand’s national sales manager. What is also important about this new range is compatibility with international socket and flush-mounting box standards in the commercial and residential sectors. The home automation system is suitable for designers who want basic or advanced functions and for users looking for integrated control systems with a variety of functions.”
The flexibility of Arteor enables users to create scenarios, whether it is a cinema environment, subdued lighting with automatic closing of curtains, or the simple adjustment of a thermostat. Dimmers, lighting controls and multimedia touch screens, are key devices in the range.
Because crime is a growing concern throughout the world, Legrand has integrated a reliable video door entry security system and video surveillance into the range. Other safety features include an emergency lighting device, which automatically lights up in the event of a power failure and automatic infra-red switches that manage light and ventilation in passageways and dark areas. Coded keypads efficiently control and monitor access security.
