Endress+Hauser South Africa has announced the appointment of Rudy Rudolph as the general manager of the Associated Production Centre (APC) Endress+Hauser – Pyrotemp, effective from 1 January 2010. The Endress+Hauser Group completed its acquisition of Pyrotemp Services, a temperature sensor manufacturer and supplier, based in Boksburg Gauteng, on 1 September 2008. Rudy is currently the sales director for Endress+Hauser South Africa, having joined the company in 1998 as the Gauteng sales manager.

“I am extremely excited about the developments at our APC as not only will it lead to improved service delivery to our combined customer base, but it also gives our local production facility access to the existing international temperature network,” says Rudy.
The company’s previous owners, Dennis Graham and Melvyn Bellis, will be retiring in December 2009 and both admitted to looking forward to the adventure, although somewhat reservedly.
Furthermore, Endress+Hauser South Africa has announced the appointment of Jacque Dreyer to the position of sales manager, effective from 1 January 2010, replacing Rudolph.

Jacque is currently the mining business driver and the acting Gauteng sales manager and when asked about his new role he said, “I am extremely excited about this new challenge and look forward to making a positive contribution to Endress+Hauser and to the industry as a whole.”
