NI collaborates with mobile robots

National Instruments has announced a collaboration that combines the flexibility of its NI LabVIEW graphical system design software with MobileRobots autonomous mobile platform, MobileRobotsindoors, to help engineers design and deploy service robot applications speedily.

Engineers working on robotics applications are often challenged to assemble a solution from the myriad of software and hardware tools that offer niche functionality and limited or no integration with other platforms. The collaboration between NI and MobileRobots provides engineers with a seamlessly integrated robotics development environment based on proven and robust technologies.
